Exciting times lie ahead in Junior Cricket and our Junior Committee are on the lookout for young cricketers - male or female - at any skill level, to join the club.
We run four age ranges from Under 9’s right through to Under 17’s with a team of dedicated coaching volunteers. Several junior cricketers at the club are in the Lancashire County Cricket programme but we welcome youngsters with absolutely any skill level. It doesn’t matter if you’re a keen cricketer or just want to swap the video games for an enjoyable outdoor activity.
We’re particularly on the lookout for Under 13’s and Under 15’s to boost our numbers in these areas. However, no matter what your age you’ll be welcome into our club which boasts excellent facilities, a friendly social setup and a pathway into the senior game as a reward for hard work. Training sessions are on Thursday or Friday evenings in the summer (depending on age group) and Tuesday’s in the winter.
Both our first team and second team senior skippers are products of our juniors which we’re extremely proud of and all senior teams contain many players who started their cricketing journeys with us.
