Our matches on Saturday gave us two star performers for the firsts and seconds with both teams picking up wins.
1XI Star Performer
The 1XI claimed a superb victory away at Clayton West with a ruthless performance, especially with the ball. First team captain Nathan Jones selected Adnan Ghani for his Star Performance; his second in succession. This time, it was Adnan’s batting exploits as he took us from a precarious 150-6 to 275-9 wth a brilliant 86 from 66 balls.

2XI Star Performer
What a win for the twos and some of it was even captured on our new live streaming service; Frogbox (Sponsored by In Touch Fire & Security). Just like the firsts, we were behind the eightball a little on 63-5 with some sloppy wickets given away. However George Partington blazed his first century and smashed his previous PB of 61no! He joined forces with Isaac Davis (69) to flay the Honley bowling attack with George finishing on 115 from 61 balls with the nearby fields and banking peppered! Brilliant stuff George!
